Brătescu Manison
Authentic Romanian mansion located in Bran
The Brătescu mansion is special for its rich architecture, which has as its main source of inspiration the Transylvanian mansions and the manorial houses of Bran. There are also a number of secondary sources of influence: elements found in the Bran Castle architecture characteristic of the Liman style or the simple style of Queen Maria or Austrian influences. The interior even has elements of Slovak inspiration, some elements seen by the Brătescu family in a hotel in Bratislava participate in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With wooden beams and romantic balconies, bright windows, and generous spaces for rooms and a restaurant, the mansion creates a very pleasant space, able to inspire.
Embraced by the spirit of the times, you would be inclined to say about this full of magic place that it is a Boutique Hotel. But no, Brătescu Mansion is more than that, it is an authentic Romanian manor capable of offering the tourist arriving in Bran a rich, unique experience, an experience that will make him want to come back.
The mansion’s architecture is the work of the architect Gabriel Henegar and the interior is designed by the designer Marinela Filip.
Modern solutions were used in the construction of this mansion. The roof is equipped with solar panels for the use of “green energy”.
The Brătescu Mansion has seven rooms with a unique design. They are a harmonious combination of retro and modern style. The exaggerated attention to detail, refinement, and original period furniture impress. Almost all the furniture in the Manor is vintage, authentic, refurbished, or reconfigured to be adapted to each room.
Each room has a mini-bar, a seating area, cable TV, an ambient thermostat for temperature regulation, and a bathroom with a shower or bathtub, with free toiletries. Some rooms have a balcony overlooking the beautiful landscapes of Bran.
