Romanian authentic mansion located in Bran
Brătescu Mansion is special for its rich architecture that has as primary source of inspiration the Transylvanian mansions and the manor houses of Bran. There are a number of secondary sources of influence: elements found in the architecture of Bran Castle typical to the Liman style or to the simple style of Queen Mary or Austrian influences. The interior has even Slovak inspired elements, some elements seen by Brătescu family in a hotel in Bratislava participates in creating the warm and welcoming atmosphere. With wooden beams and romantic balconies, bright windows and large spaces for rooms and restaurant, the mansion creates a very pleasant space, able to inspire.
Seized by the spirit of the times, you would be prone to say about this place full of magic that it is a Boutique Hotel. But no, it is not just a Boutique Hotel; it is more than this, namely an authentic Romanian mansion able to offer the tourist arrived in Bran a rich and unique experience that will make him want to return.
The architecture of the mansion is the creation of architect Gabriel Henegar and the interior is designed by designer Marinela Filip.
In the completion of this mansion, modern solutions were used. The roof is equipped with solar panels in order to use “green energy”.
Brătescu Mansion has seven rooms with a unique design. These are a harmonious blend of retro and modern style. The excessive attention to details, the refinement and the original antique furniture impresses. Almost all the furniture from the Mansion is antique, authentic, reconditioned or reconfigured to be adapted to each room.
Each room has a mini-bar, relaxation area, cable TV, ambient thermostat to control the temperature and bathroom with shower or bathtub, with free toiletries. Some rooms have balconies with view towards the stunning landscapes of Bran.
